TERMS OF AGREEMENT OF SALE AND PURCHASE

Place, manner, and time of drawing up the contract

The place where the user has his computer installed is considered the place of conclusion of the contract.

 

The procedure for drawing up the contract is as follows:

  • Overview of educational programs and seminars at www.poep.gr

  • Add to “cart” or “buy now” the selected courses.

  • Declaration of acceptance and agreement with the terms of use.

  • Service. The object of the agreement is the order by the user and the sale by “POEP”. The price of each seminar is the one mentioned on the website and the 24% VAT is included in the price.

  • Written transaction confirmation. The order is confirmed and all personal details, the order and the cost are displayed in detail on the user’s screen. Otherwise, it is assumed without further ado, either that the information entered by the user was incomplete for processing, or that reasons of force majeure (e.g. system breakdown) prevented the processing of the data.

  •  If the customer chooses a credit card as a payment method, he is transferred to a secure encrypted environment, where he enters his billing information (read more in online transaction security).

  • The price is now subject to 24% VAT. If the user is in arrears, the interest applicable in Greece will be due. If the provider is in default of delivery, the price will be paid at the price in force at the time of the due fulfillment of the provision. The price cannot be adjusted.

  • Failure to exercise or enforce any of its rights or terms of these terms of use shall in no way constitute a waiver of that right or term. Any disputes arising out of this contract are subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Thessaloniki.

7. Applicable Law and Competent Courts. This Agreement is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Hellenic Republic. Any disputes arising out of this contract are subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Thessaloniki.

 

8. Force majeure. “POEP” in this Agreement shall not be liable for delay or inability to perform any of the terms of the Agreement, as long as this is due to events beyond its control.

 

9. No Assignment. You may not assign this Agreement or any of the rights hereunder to a third party. Any such assignment shall be void and without legal effect.

 

10. The parties agree that this contract is not exclusive, and that “POEP” is entitled to enter into other similar contracts with third parties at the same time and in competition with the user.

 

11. Overall Agreement. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement of the parties with respect to the matters contained herein and supersedes any prior agreement, written or oral, between the parties. If any of the terms of the Agreement conflicts with the terms and conditions regarding the use of the Website, the terms and conditions of the Website shall prevail.

 

OTHER

Modification of the present terms: poep.gr reserves the right to modify or renew the terms and conditions of transactions. The company undertakes the obligation to update this text for any change or addition to the terms.
